TERMS & CONDITIONS
The 2009 Philippine Travellers Club is valid from September 1, 2008 through December 31, 2009 and is valid seven days a week, during all normal business hours, unless otherwise stated in the ad. Your membership is not valid, however, on the following major holidays:
New Years Day, Sinulog, Valentine’s Day, Holy Week & Easter Christmas
Restaurants: Two-For-The Price of One Offer
·The Member/cardholder is entitled to one entrée when another entrée is purchased at the same time.
·The Member and their guest(s) have a complete choice of all entrees on the restaurant menu, including a la carte items. There are no menu limitations or restrictions, unless otherwise stated in their ad. Holiday, senior, and children’s menu are excluded. All lobster, abalone, and market price items are excluded.
·The membership is not valid with any other discounts or promotions.
·The least expensive of the two (or more) entrees ordered shall be deducted from the check, as well as applicable sales tax and VAT. If the values are equal, one entrée is free.
·Only one check per table. No separate checks allowed.
·The two for one is valid only once per restaurant, unless otherwise stated in the advertisement.
·Member must present their membership card and two for the price of one certificate at the time of order to assist in the tabulation of your bill.
Percentage off Entire Check
·The Member/cardholder and guests have a complete choice of all food, beverage, and liquor items on the participating restaurant’s menu, unless otherwise stated in their ad.
·The participating restaurant will deduct the stated percentage from the total food, beverage, and liquor items.
·The Member may choose to receive the percentage off offer instead of the two-for-one offer on their purchase.
·The percentage off offer is not valid with any other promotion or be combined with any other offer.
·Please present your Membership Card at the time of your order to assist in the fast tabulation of your bill
·Please tip no less than 10% of your total bill before the deductions! Your generosity will assure the restaurant’s continued participation for years to come.
·All other stated condition and rules apply to membership card use.
Specialty Store & Services
·Your PTC Membership Card entitles you to unlimited usage of all stated discounts and special offers at the participating Merchants, unless stated otherwise.
·The Member may choose to receive the percentage off offer instead of the two-for-one or other offer on their purchases. The percentage off offer is not valid with the two-for-one offer or combined with any other promotion.
·Sale items and other promotions are always excluded, unless otherwise stated in the advertisement
·Present your Membership Card at the point of purchase and at the beginning of the sale. This prevents the Merchant from “Having to Void or Rewrite Your Receipt.”
·Take full advantage of all the benefits offered in the PTC Directory, Please read each ad carefully and note any exclusions or conditions that may apply.
Notice to Members
Your Philippine Travellers Club Membership Card must be shown at the time of order or sale to be valid and is not valid with any other previous sale or transaction.
In the event that a participating restaurant, business, or specialty store does not honor the Membership card for any reason whatsoever, PTC (Philippine Travellers Club) and VQ Advertising is not responsible. Neither the company nor the participating Merchants are responsible for lost, mutilated, or stolen Membership Cards.
Hotel and Pensione Houses
Reservations for Hotels and Pensione Houses should be made up to 30 days in advance, unless otherwise noted. Since space is limited, advance reservations are strongly recommended to ensure your reservation will be honored. Please read and follow the reservation procedures below.
·Use only the contact information in this directory to contact the Hotels or Pensione Houses directly.
·Ask for the in-house reservation desk and identify yourself as a “Philippine Travellers Club Member.”
·Ask the reservation desk for room availability for your desired travel dates.
·Confirm your special discount rate and write down or print your confirmation code.
·Present your PTC Membership Card upon check in.
Important Information
What is “Rack Rate”?
The rack rate is the hotel’s or pensione house’s non-discounted room rate. The hotel or pensione house from time to time, offer special, seasonal, or promotional rates. Your PTC member discount does not apply to these special rates.
What Does “Subject to Availability” Mean?
Participating hotels and pensione houses will accept your reservation to fill projected vacancies. Your reservation will be accepted until the hotel or pensione house projects that it can rent out the remaining rooms at full price.
