Boracay Rock
Located just off the east coast beach, Boracay Rock is a fascinating natural formation. The small island is completely undercut by the sea and the top overhangs the recessed base. Between Boracay Rock and Little Boracay Rock, shells, coral and starfish abound, making it a favorite fossicking spot for the local residents.
Caves
There are number of caves on Boracay. Bat Cave, on the northeastern tip, has bats with wingspans up to four feet.
Diniwid Beach
This peaceful beach is only 200 meters long and a short walk from the north end of White Beach along the Fairways and Bluewater Road. Those who undertake the trek are rewarded with one of the best views of the island from a platform rock. Built on a steep, high seacliff at the end of Diniwid Beach, is an exclusive resort home area.
Gateway Arch
This large arch at the tip of Bulaboc Point is the gateway to Boracay's exclusive development, fairways and Bluewater Leisure Resorts. The small, concrete quay, just beyond the rock arch, affords spectacular views of the island's scenic east coast from Lapuz-Lapuz Point to Boaracay's island's southeastern tip, a distance of six kilometers. The Gateway Arch is easily accesible by tricycle or motor scooter.
Live Coral Beds
On the southern end of White Beach, past the beach rocks, is a large coral shelf that has countless varieties of living coral in a myriad shapes and sizes, including many examples of colorful brain coral. The shelf is exposed above the water level at low tide. The coral and the rocky coast line combine to make a perfect location for photographers.
Puka Beach
Puka Beach, the second longest in the island covers half of the northern tip of the island. The sand is a contrast to White Beach, yellow and less fine in texture. The mild surf is typical of an island surrounded by fringing reefs. The beach is 800 meters long and has a abundance of small shells and tiny, white coral amulets, which are suitable for necklace pendants. Puka Beach is named after the rare Puka Shell, regarded by the experts as the finest in the world. To fully appreciate the scenery, motorized outrigger (banca) trips are recommended. The beach ends abruptly at the Lapuz-Lapuz cliffs, on the extreme norther point of the island. This is the most primitive and rugged part of the Boracay.
White Beach
Boracay's premier beach is 3.5 kilometers long and up to 100 meters wide. The major attractions are sunbathing on the sparkling white sand or relaxing under the cool shelter of the bordering palm trees. Wading and snorkelling are also popular activities, as the gentle slope of the sand produces shallows a long way out from the shore. The general mood of relaxation is complemented by the scores of masseurs who ply the beach offering their services.
Willy's Rock
Situated one hudred meters off the shore, in the shallow water , Willy's Rock is a castle-like volcanic formation that dominates the seascape along White Beach. Facing the beach are stairs leading to a chapel at the top, which contains a statue of the Virgin Mary. Willy's Rock is the most photographed landmark on Boracay offers a commanding view of the island. On the distant horizon, Naasog Point on Panay island can be seen.
